• Description

   

   

  Reporting to the Site-in-charge, your responsibilities will include:

   

  
  Supervising the overall work at the site

  Preparing the daily labour report by actually counting the labours along with the contractor’s engineer and recording of the same in the register and on site display board 

  Cross checking the availability of labours, resources etc. before the start of concrete work

  Coordinate with the Site-in-Charge

   

  
  Concreting Work

  Taking care of curing at site

  Supervising the contractors in writing down concreted dates on the structures in a visible manner

  Helping the Junior Engineer in checking the reinforcements, shuttering, plumb and supports before the concreting 

  Checking the cleaning of the structure before concreting and before starting the tieing of reinforcement 

  Helping the Junior Engineer in checking the marking done for brick work/ block work/ aerated block work etc.

  Attending to the concreting, supervising, applying the vibrators, controlling the flow of concrete, checking the finishing and level, guiding the concrete team during the pour 

  Finding the number of vibrators and needle available at site, before the start of concrete 

  Checking the line and the level of the block work

  Checking the mortar mixing proportions

  House-Keeping

  Supervising the house keeping staff

   

  
  Cube Casting & Testing

  Seeing the cube moulds cleaning and oiling and the required cube moulds arranged at site 

  Seeing the fitting of the cube moulds, properly seeing the compactions, with the casting dated inscribed on the concrete

   

  
  Conflict Resolution 

  Ensuring site problems of various agencies/ contractors are brought to the notice of Site Engineer and Junior Engineer for immediate resolution 

   

  
  Safety Work

  Ensure Fist Aid, Fire Fighting, Safety gear or other safety equipment is available    

   

  
  Store Management

  Follow up of indent schedule, cube schedule, cube register, cube report and RMC register 

   

  
  Liaison with various government agencies

  Liaison with various government agencies like BMC, BEST and police
